Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Hands on contribution to code bases, developing and testing robust backend microservices and front-end micro UIs
• Contribute to architectural decisions regarding scalability, security, and maintainability
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to provide technical insights
• Peer review code of other developers on the agile team
• Mentor and guide junior developers to foster growth and a collaborative culture
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

• 7+ years experience with Java or Golang
• 7+ years working in an agile environment
• 5+ years experience with database design and performance tuning
• 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud or another cloud platform
• 3+ years working as a full stack engineer
• 2+ years leveraging AI centric software development tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot)
• Knowledge of software design principles and architectural patterns
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with React
• 3+ years of experience leading a team
