Responsibilities

• Build and operate core services that power how families find care and how Care Professionals do their work
• Work with the DemandGen Team to power public digital experiences and growth channels
• Evolve systems from design through operation
• Ensure high quality through attention to detail and debugging procedures
• Mentor others and contribute to a healthy, inclusive engineering culture
• Translate complex ideas into clear, actionable solutions for technical and non-technical partners
• Identify and amend inefficiencies in processes across engineering teams

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with a track record of building production systems
• Experience designing relational data models and working with databases at scale
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with API design, distributed systems, and backend performance
• Proficiency in Python or transferable backend experience
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Tailwind
• Experience using AI tooling to assist with coding and deployment
