Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Scope and lead large projects, addressing ambiguity and ensuring technical excellence
• Help develop the team roadmap, balancing key technical and product tradeoffs
• Teach and mentor members of the engineering team
• Work within a tech stack including Python, Django, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Write high-quality production code and ship features with meaningful impact

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience mentoring and leading teams, ideally in a startup environment
• Experience across multiple functional areas such as frontend, backend, platform, services, data, or cloud infrastructure
• Strong technical foundation and ability to work cross-functionally
• Excellent communication skills
• Deep care for both technical and product success
