Staff Software Engineer, Platform

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise-scale infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and Kubernetes-native systems
• Improve platform networking, security, and observability
• Own critical production systems including reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency
• Create abstractions and tooling to help customers deploy and scale AI/ML workloads
• Act as a technical leader and mentor across the engineering organization
• Partner with product and leadership to shape platform direction

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience in infrastructure, platform, or distributed systems
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production
• Strong cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proven track record building secure, scalable AI/MLOps platforms
• Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK)
• Strong programming skills in Go or TypeScript
• Experience diagnosing and debugging complex production issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building Kubernetes operators
• Experience working with service meshes like Istio
