Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of complex product initiatives across web and mobile platforms
• Build and enhance React and React Native applications
• Set engineering standards, drive code quality, and ensure strong test coverage
• Develop scalable components, shared libraries, and architectural patterns
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across multiple teams
• Partner with CTO and engineering leadership to execute high-impact solutions
• Design features and data models with accuracy, security, and performance in mind
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack and improve system reliability

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React
• Proven ability to design scalable systems, APIs, and data models
• Solid experience with relational databases and query optimization
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical decision-making
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework
• Experience with TypeScript and React Native
• Experience with Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis, or Clickhouse
