Job description

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic large prospects and customers for GitLab
  • Provide account leadership and direction in both pre- and post-sales processes
  • Conduct sales activities, prospecting, and opportunity development in large/strategic accounts
  • Ensure successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products through effective account management
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by offering product enhancement ideas
  • Generate qualified leads and develop new customers with strategic channel partners
  • Continuously expand industry and competitive knowledge
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports
  • Drive root cause analyses for wins and losses
  • Communicate lessons learned to internal teams
  • Work closely with sales management to convey customer needs
  • Use a consultative approach in proposing solutions to customers
  • Develop account plans based on customer needs
  • Collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market strategies

Requirements

  • Based in Dubai, with ability to meet customers frequently in Saudi Arabia
  • Experience working in the Saudi Arabian market and a strong professional network
  • Strong account management and control skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision on complex projects
  • Experience selling into large organizations
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
  • Solid relationships and proven sales techniques
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Comfortable using GitLab and able to adhere to company travel policy
  • Motivation to help customers realize value from the solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Git, Software Development Tools, or Application Lifecycle Management
  • Alignment with GitLab values
