Strategic Account Manager - DeFi

Responsibilities

• Establish a comprehensive account management plan covering community engagement, DAO governance, delegate outreach, product integration, and roadmap alignment.
• Undertake new business development to acquire top DeFi protocols for Chainlink.
• Create and oversee team structure for account management.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Drive growth in the usage of existing products.
• Gather and relay user feedback to help the product team develop new features and offerings.

Requirements

• 3+ years' extensive account, new business, or relationship management in technical environments.
• Experience managing large/complex accounts and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of web3/blockchain technology with strong hands-on experience in DeFi.
• Ability to read code, hold technical conversations, and navigate software development projects (highly desirable).
• Pre-sales experience, strong business acumen, and commercial negotiation skills.
• 2+ years' experience with decentralized apps (DApps), smart contracts, blockchain.
• Willing to travel 20%+.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on development experience in web3/DeFi projects.
• Strong experience engaging with DAOs.
• Understanding of Solidity, Python, SQL, or similar programming languages.
