Strategic Account Manager - DeFi

Responsibilities

• Establish a comprehensive account management plan encompassing aspects such as community engagement, DAO governance landscape, delegate outreach, product integration, and roadmap alignment.
• Undertake new business development activities to acquire DeFi protocols for Chainlink.
• Create and oversee team structure for the account management plan.
• Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Drive the usage of existing Chainlink products.
• Gather user feedback, facilitating the development of new features to improve satisfaction.

Requirements

• 3+ years in account, business or relationship management in technical environments (large and complex accounts).
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels and functions.
• Hands-on knowledge of web3/blockchain technology and DeFi.
• Technical aptitude: able to read code and discuss large-scale software development projects.
• Experience in pre-sales, strong business acumen, and commercial negotiations.
• 2+ years with DApps, smart contracts, and blockchain technology.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on development experience with web3/DeFi projects.
• Experience working with DAOs.
• Familiarity or working knowledge in Solidity, Python, SQL, or other programming languages.
