About the Company

Garner is a fast-growing healthcare technology company on a mission to transform the healthcare economy. We partner with employers to redesign healthcare benefits using data-driven insights, guiding employees to higher-quality, lower-cost care.

Responsibilities

  • Own the process to retain and upsell large employer clients (1,000 - 5,000 lives)
  • Collaborate with account managers to ensure excellent client experiences
  • Act as a strategic partner on plan design, cost trends, and plan performance
  • Establish and manage strategic broker and client relationships
  • Monitor client health and execute plans to address account risks
  • Resolve strategic problems to ensure value delivery to employers and members
  • Partner with product, data, and technology teams to deliver customized ROI reports

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in commercially-oriented account management or sales in the employee benefits space
  • Deep knowledge of health plan design and benefits strategy
  • Proven track record of achieving retention and upsell targets
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
