About the Company

Cursor is building the best AI code editor for professional programmers. Our mission is to automate coding through inventive research, design, and engineering in a flat, talent-dense organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow relationships with defense prime contractors focused on Army programs (SAIC, Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI, Peraton).
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements, including reseller and teaming arrangements.
  • Identify program-level opportunities to position Cursor as the developer tooling standard.
  • Build relationships inside Army Software Factories and program offices to generate bottom-up demand.
  • Represent Cursor at industry events like AUSA and NDIA.
  • Own a revenue target for the Army/DoD prime channel business and manage the pipeline.
  • Partner with Field Engineering on technical evaluations and POCs.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on FedRAMP/IL considerations.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance or above (required).
  • 5+ years of channel sales, BD, or partnership management experience within the defense industrial base.
  • Existing relationships at major Army prime contractors at the BD, program management, or technical leadership level.
  • Proven track record of driving material software revenue ($500K+).
  • Understanding of how prime contractors evaluate and deploy software tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Prior active duty or civilian service in an Army software or digital modernization role.
  • Experience selling developer tools, AI/ML platforms, or SDLC tooling to defense primes.
  • Existing Army-side relationships at Kessel Run, PEO EIS, Army CIO/G-6, or Futures Command.
