Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing process for assigned internal client groups
• Deploy sourcing tools including supplier search, analysis, and contract management utilizing Scanmarket software
• Partner with internal clients to define and prioritize business requirements
• Research industries and suppliers to identify viable options
• Manage the RFX process by composing documents and reviewing with stakeholders
• Negotiate supplier contracts for optimal pricing, services, quality, and value
• Define, measure, and report relevant metrics to demonstrate department value
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to deliver on timelines and cost-savings
• Perform advanced supplier searches utilizing AI

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 7+ years of corporate purchasing experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Experience in a Project Management capacity
• Ability to summarize supplier quotes into concise SOWs
• Experience managing through influence and strong relationship building skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPM, CPSM or similar professional certification
• Pharmaceutical industry experience
