Student Success Mentor

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with students to make them feel valued and supported
• Monitor engagement, attendance, and academic progress to launch timely interventions
• Partner with families, teachers, and support teams to develop personalized success plans
• Identify academic, social-emotional, or environmental barriers to student success
• Maintain thorough documentation of student interactions and progress
• Assist students in establishing academic and personal goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting students, families, or customers
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an educational, mentoring, or student support role
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Proficiency with Mac OS and Google Workspace
• Ability to travel to assigned testing locations for proctoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services
• Experience using student information systems and Asana
• Experience building relationships that improve student engagement
