System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software and hardware, including desktops, laptops, and servers
• Manage network infrastructure, servers, and various technology tools
• Set up user accounts and workstations within the organization
• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues encountered by users
• Monitor system performance and health to ensure stability
• Upgrade systems and processes to enhance functionality and resolve security issues
• Manage data backup, recovery, and patch management processes

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in system administration or a related IT role
• Strong knowledge of operating systems and databases
• Proficiency with networks (LAN, WAN, firewalls), DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Applications
• Familiarity with system security, virtualization, and patch management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MCSA, CCNA, or Azure certifications
• Completion of a formal Network course
