Job description

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end infrastructure setups across global regions and colocations, including bring-up, validation, and go-live readiness
  • Own the systems stack, including Linux servers, OS baselines, automation, configuration, and performance tuning
  • Run and improve testing and validation processes, such as connectivity checks, load tests, and failure testing
  • Investigate complex issues and bottlenecks across OS, kernel, drivers, and dependencies
  • Build repeatable automation and rollout playbooks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and scripting
  • Improve observability through metrics, logs, dashboards, and alert tuning
  • Strengthen operations via runbooks, incident reviews (RCA), and documentation
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support trading infrastructure and incident response

Requirements

  • Hands-on production experience with Linux and systems troubleshooting
  • Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, MTU, and packet loss/jitter symptoms
  • Automation mindset with proficiency in Bash or Python
  • Ability to debug across multiple layers and coordinate with network and hardware engineers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for status updates and documentation
  • Availability to participate in a scheduled on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Low-latency or performance tuning experience (CPU/IRQ affinity, NIC tuning, etc.)
  • Experience with colocation or provider coordination
  • Knowledge of time synchronization basics (NTP/PTP)
  • Interest or experience in trading, exchange, or broker connectivity
