Tamil Translator

Responsibilities

• Translate user interfaces for all Chess.com apps, including Chess.com Mobile, ChessKid, and Dr Wolf
• Translate marketing campaigns to engage the Tamil-speaking community
• Review previously submitted translations to ensure high quality and consistency

Requirements

• Expertise in both English and Tamil languages
• Professional translation experience
• Deep understanding of chess terminology and mechanics
• Strong grasp of language theory and linguistic structure

Preferred Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in both English and Tamil
• Demonstrated expertise in chess
• Proven ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
• Excellent communication skills and high responsiveness
