Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Tax planning and preparation for high-net-worth individuals and related entities
• Ensuring compliance with federal and state filing requirements
• Performing technical research to address complex tax issues
• Analyzing client information to recommend tax liability reductions
• Collaborating with wealth management teams to provide top-quality client service
• Communicating effectively with advisors and clients
• Acting as a resource for tax planning, research, and ongoing education
• Assisting the Director of Tax Services with staff education and client communications

Requirements

• CPA, EA, or JD certification
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated focus on individual and fiduciary tax returns for high-net-worth clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work additional hours during busy season

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-net-worth individual, business, partnership, foundation, and gift tax returns
• Experience with ProSystem fx Tax, CCH Axcess, and BNA Income Tax Planner
• Experience at a Big Four or large regional accounting firm
