Team Lead Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Development of various services in Python for marketing partner integration and data acquisition
• Creation and support of processes on Airflow
• Development and refinement of reports on SSRS and Superset dashboards
• Creation and support of SQL DWH and stored procedures
• Supporting the migration of marketing data pipelines and DWH components from MS SQL to Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)
• Contributing to architecture decisions and best practices

Requirements

• Management experience with a small team
• Confident level of SQL knowledge (window functions, subqueries, joins)
• At least 1 year of Python experience
• Basic query optimization skills
• Experience with MSSQL, SSRS, and Superset or other BI solutions
• Experience with Airflow
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managed data services

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude in engineering workflows
