Team Lead, RCM Operations

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary subject matter expert for assigned client accounts and workflows
• Conduct root cause analysis of rejected claims, denials, and reporting discrepancies
• Proactively identify accounts receivable (AR) and billing trends or payment anomalies
• Assign weekly workloads to team members based on volume and strategic priorities
• Validate work completion and accuracy using reporting tools and dashboards
• Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires on software platforms
• Conduct weekly 1:1s, team syncs, and professional development coaching
• Generate monthly reports on patient balances and refund balances
• Research and recommend adjustments or write-offs for leadership approval

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing billing and collections teams
• Proven track record in healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM)
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring competencies
• Proficiency in Google for Business and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with clearinghouses and healthcare SaaS products
• Ability to drive organizational change and manage team transitions
• Strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
