Job description
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a defined book of business for Kpler’s Maritime products within EMEA (including upsell within existing Kpler clients).
- Manage, coach and develop a team of 3 Sales Specialists across global territories to drive maritime product adoption.
- Define and execute territory plans; align team activities to those plans.
- Manage commercial pipeline for the team and personally to maximize revenue and account spend.
- Gather customer insights on product and competitors to inform product and commercial strategy.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver reliable monthly and quarterly forecasts.
- Collaborate with Account Managers on contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable agreements.
- Represent Kpler externally with professionalism and credibility; support cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years commercial experience
- 2-3 years management experience
- SaaS sales experience in maritime
- Experience with technology/data vendors
- Strong communication skills
- CRM proficiency
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AIS, vessel tracking or maritime intelligence products
- Track record selling into EMEA markets
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven ability to develop and train sales team members
- Additional language skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments
