Tech Lead, dApp

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction and frontend architecture of the 1inch web dApp, prioritizing security as a core design principle.
• Build production code for critical features, complex Web3 user journeys, and performance-sensitive areas.
• Design and improve secure integrations with backend services, blockchain APIs, wallet providers, and transaction lifecycle management.
• Establish and uphold engineering standards for security, performance, accessibility, testing, and code quality.
• Mentor frontend engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, hiring, and onboarding.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices while maintaining rigorous quality and security standards.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver scalable and reliable features.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional frontend or full-stack development experience, including senior or technical leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Angular, with experience maintaining large-scale production web applications.
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating Web3 APIs and wallet providers using libraries such as ethers.js, viem, or web3.js.
• Extensive practical experience using Cursor AI or comparable AI-native engineering environments.
• Proven experience with secure engineering practices, threat modeling, and handling sensitive wallet-related data.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Nx monorepos and Angular SSR.
• Experience implementing feature flags or product analytics.
• Experience with AI-assisted code review, testing, or security automation within CI/CD pipelines.
