About the Company

PostHog is a product-led platform that acts as a co-pilot for product development, offering tools like AI devtools, a built-in data warehouse, and AI-powered analytics. Launched out of Y Combinator, the company is well-funded and focuses on autonomy, transparency, and shipping fast in a natively remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the initial relationship with customers inquiring via the website and guide them through the evaluation process.
  • Win new business by engaging engineers, PMs, and founders to demonstrate PostHog's value.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from the first call to closing, meeting and exceeding quarterly targets.
  • Conduct warm outbound to users from large companies to build a high-quality pipeline.
  • Act as a technical expert on all PostHog products to advise on configuration and implementation.
  • Capture and communicate customer feedback directly to product teams.
  • Manage multi-threaded deal cycles involving technical, legal, and procurement stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand technical products like feature flags and data warehouses deeply.
  • Commercially-minded with a focus on growing and retaining revenue.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to remove blockers for users.
  • Excellent written communication skills for async-first environments (Slack, email, Loom).
  • Experience managing a book of business or leading complex deal cycles.
  • Ability to switch contexts between high-velocity startups and enterprise evaluations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with developer tools, product analytics, session replay, or data pipelines.
  • Proven experience building outbound campaigns from scratch.
  • A track record of building tools or workflows that improve team effectiveness.
