Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work with central customer IT teams to architect Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) deployments across enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with Field Engineering and Solution Architects to ensure seamless technical continuity from pre-sales through deployment.
  • Guide secure deployments, including IAM, networking, and data pipelines, ensuring alignment with Cognite best practices.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Services Delivery, and Value Engineering to align architecture and use-case roadmaps with customer goals.
  • Co-develop adoption programs, facilitate user feedback loops, and support the scaling of best practices.
  • Identify and surface expansion opportunities by deeply understanding customer needs and business priorities.
  • Provide technical insights to accelerate and de-risk expansion and renewal opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Solution Partners and validate technical quality of partner-delivered solutions.
  • Advocate customer perspective to Product and Engineering, especially on product limitations and priorities.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and champion Cognite’s culture of curiosity and ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–12+ years of experience (TAM / Director level) in roles such as solution architect, data engineer, software developer, or enterprise architect.
  • Deep technical understanding of enterprise integration patterns, cloud architecture, data platforms, identity management, and networking security.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps workflows.
  • Strong familiarity with industrial source systems, time-series data, OT/IT integration (especially in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or Power & Utilities).
  • Demonstrated ability to credibly engage, coach, and lead technical stakeholders across seniority levels.
  • Experience facilitating technical workshops, co-design sessions, and managing escalations with enterprise customers.
  • Comfortable operating in matrixed, fast-paced SaaS environments.
