Technical Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain post-sales relationships with large, complex customers in the APJ region
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to ensure successful Postgres implementations
• Act as the single point of contact for all technical areas of EDB
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and project management for major initiatives
• Coordinate between internal teams including Professional Services, Field CTO, and Technical Support
• Manage customer escalations and provide product feedback to management
• Document best practices for developing and deploying EDB solutions

Requirements

• Experience in consultative technical engagement with large customers in APJ
• Ability to establish relationships with senior technical leadership and CxO level personnel
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to complete EDB Postgres Professional Certification within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server
• Advanced skills in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture
• Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
