Technical Analytics Manager/Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, validation, and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions
• Manage analytics projects supporting fraud detection, waste, and abuse identification
• Develop predictive models, anomaly detection methods, and entity-resolution techniques
• Translate business and investigative requirements into technical analytics solutions
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to data scientists and analysts
• Conduct technical reviews and quality-control of analytics work products

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing analytic models for fraud detection or investigative analytics
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing model development and testing efforts
• Minimum 5 years of experience tracking project progress and mitigating risks
• Minimum 5 years of experience coding analytic rules using open-source programming tools
• Proficiency with Python, R, or SQL
• Experience working with large-scale, complex structured and unstructured datasets
• Ability to successfully complete and maintain a government background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal fraud prevention or oversight initiatives
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, or Neo4j
• Experience with generative AI, NLP, or graph analytics
• Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
