Technical Architect/Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions across all microservices and the entire application ecosystem
• Lead technical debt prioritization and modernization initiatives
• Mentor and provide hands-on technical guidance to a team of 8-12 developers
• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes
• Own the technical roadmap and architecture evolution for the platform
• Design scalable solutions for microservices using Ruby on Rails, Node.js/TypeScript, and React
• Oversee partner customization strategy and custom sagas development
• Collaborate with QA, Product Management, UI/UX, and Technical Customer Support

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years in technical architecture or team lead roles
• Proven track record leading engineering teams and complex technical projects
• Experience with microservices architecture at scale
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and Node.js/TypeScript
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and database design
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and RabbitMQ
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and GraphQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, mortgage, or lending industry
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance
• Experience with document management and workflow automation systems
• Experience with Apollo Server
