Technical Designer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with different disciplines to realize the shared vision for the game
• Champion and uphold technical workflows and production pipelines
• Act as a technical expert ensuring high quality tools, documents, and best practices
• Obtain in-depth knowledge of the engine and auxiliary development tools
• Uphold good system architecture including reuse and optimization
• Advocate for the technical design team across all departments

Requirements

• Ability to work cross-discipline and provide constructive feedback
• Excellent technical scripting skills (visual and text-based)
• Self-motivated problem solver for creative and technical challenges
• Ability to analyze and deconstruct the work of others
• Good knowledge of game and level design principles
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of programming languages such as C++
• Understanding of optimization and technical limitations
• Knowledge of network replication and limitations
