Technical Project Manager - Application Security

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute service delivery strategies for application security assessments and advisory engagements.
• Partner with clients to understand requirements, scope, and plan technical activities such as audits and security architecture development.
• Decompose high-level product descriptions into well-defined technical tasks for security engineering teams.
• Lead technical project teams and oversee the continuous improvement of project deliverables.
• Document and present product security risks using both technical and business-oriented language.
• Conduct technical QA on deliverables, including findings, reports, and improvement recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client development and security teams.

Requirements

• MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in application security (engineering, development, or consultancy).
• 2+ years of experience in technical project management specifically related to product or information security.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with security concepts, cryptography, and protocols across Cloud, Web, Mobile, or IoT platforms.
• Ability to read source code in languages such as Java, Python, Swift, Kotlin, or JavaScript to identify security flaws.
• Familiarity with S-SDLC processes and IAM methods (OAuth, SSO, JWT, Cloud IAM).
• Experience with application authentication and key management systems (HSM, TPM, Keystore/Keychain).
• Proven experience managing technical teams and stakeholder management.
• Experience working with international, distributed teams across different time zones.
