Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of large multi-party engagements, including frontier-model red teaming and government RFPs
• Manage the RFP and opportunity pipeline, including scoping, drafting proposals, and supporting contract negotiations
• Drive red-team recruiting by partnering with the lead recruiter to build a world-class hiring pipeline
• Serve as a thought partner on sourcing strategy, candidate calibration, and hiring bar
• Perform technical writing, risk memos, and external briefs
• Conduct ecosystem analysis, event organizing, and support policy or grant-making initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years of program or engagement management experience in high-velocity technical environments
• Proven track record of delivering complex multi-party programs to hard deadlines
• Ability to engage with technical substance, including reading technical reports and security/vulnerability documentation
• Experience with technical recruiting or supporting end-to-end hiring processes
• Experience drafting proposals or RFP responses for government or frontier technology counterparts
• Strong written communication skills for status updates and external briefs
• Ability to operate with significant autonomy in high-stakes settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the AI safety field, risk models, and the landscape of labs and institutes
• Experience working with governments or frontier AI companies
• Technical background in ML, cybersecurity, or software engineering
• Previous exposure to AI evaluations, red-teaming, or AI governance
• Experience running grant-making or RFP processes
