Technical Solution Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery to understand customer workflows, KPIs, and constraints
• Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements
• Define data exchange processes, including field mapping and transformations
• Guide configuration of products and ensure customer IT readiness
• Partner with Project Managers to run User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Create source-to-target data mappings and documentation
• Act as a technical liaison during sales and early project phases
• Support product demos and customer training

Requirements

• 3–6+ years in a customer-facing solutions role (Solutions Analyst, Engineer, or Consultant)
• Foundational understanding of the U.S. transmission interconnection ecosystem
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/CSV, and data mapping
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test queries
• Strong skills in requirements gathering and process modeling (BPMN/UML)
• Experience with issue tracking tools like Jira and Confluence
• Ability to travel approximately 10–20% for onsite activities
• Must qualify as a "U.S. person" per federal law

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a scaling B2B SaaS startup
• Knowledge of GIS, data pipelines, or iPaaS tools
• Familiarity with security and compliance (PII, RBAC, CII)
• Proficiency with visualization tools like Figma, Lucid, or Draw.io
• Light scripting skills in Python
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau
