Job description

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, training materials, and process documentation
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure technical accuracy
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
  • Develop and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and standards
  • Research and compile information from multiple sources to create comprehensive content
  • Review, edit, and proofread documentation for clarity, accuracy, and completeness
  • Manage documentation repositories and ensure content remains current and relevant
  • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to deliver documentation on schedule
  • Gather feedback from internal and external audiences to improve documentation quality
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in technical communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce professional documentation
  • Experience communicating complex technical information to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation management tools
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Technical Writer (CTW)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Experience with software development methodologies and technical concepts
