Telecom Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle implementation of telecom network functions in cloud-native environments
• Manage design, deployment, acceptance, operations, documentation, and support activities
• Support mobile network technologies across 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)
• Manage core network functions including Packet Core, IMS Core, Charging & Policy, and Subscriber Repositories
• Deploy and operate infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenShift, and VMware
• Partner with R&D and Engineering to automate workflows and develop infrastructure-as-code

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in network architecture, wireless networking, and virtualization
• Strong experience with cloud networking and infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenShift, VMware)
• Deep knowledge of telecom protocols including GTP, Diameter, SIP, DNS, and IPsec
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI fundamentals and their application in network operations
• AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications
• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent)
• Telecom vendor certifications
