Territory Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new stores within the assigned Southern California territory
• Manage and grow territory-level focused accounts and small chains through HQ relationships
• Build and maintain strong distribution and store-level relationships
• Meet and exceed sales targets and manage trade spend and travel budgets
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for order fulfillment and client satisfaction
• Execute new product launches, promotions, and marketing programs
• Attend industry events and distributor/retailer shows

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Pet or CPG industry selling to retailers
• Experience selling through distributor sales reps
• Thorough understanding of the pet industry, distributors, and retailers
• Knowledge of sales management within the retail channel
• Ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships
• Strategic planning skills to maximize territory sales
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Must be open to up to 75% travel
