Job Description
Responsibilities
- Analyse local and international markets to identify trading opportunities for cement and related bulk commodities
- Source and secure strategic suppliers and reliable buyers
- Manage purchase and sale of cargoes, including pricing, offers, negotiations and finalizing contracts
- Coordinate with in-house shipping teams and counterparties to ensure efficient handling of shipments
- Optimize trade profitability by managing costs, freight, chartering and mitigating trading risks
- Monitor counterparties against contract terms and resolve operational disputes or performance issues
- Prepare market reports, budgets and regular presentations for management
- Collaborate with and support other traders in the Cemcoa trading team
- Support continuous improvement and performance initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years experience
- Cement commodities
- Dry-bulk trading
- Chartering expertise
- Shipping operations
- Contract drafting
- Negotiation skills
- Market analysis
- Portfolio growth
- Dubai-based
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Proven track record growing new products or markets
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
