Trader Cement Desk North America

Responsibilities

• Analyse local and international markets to identify trading opportunities for cement and related bulk commodities
• Source and secure strategic suppliers and reliable buyers
• Manage purchase and sale of cargoes, including pricing, offers, negotiations and finalizing contracts
• Coordinate with in-house shipping teams and counterparties to ensure efficient handling of shipments
• Optimize trade profitability by managing costs, freight, chartering and mitigating trading risks
• Monitor counterparties against contract terms and resolve operational disputes or performance issues
• Prepare market reports, budgets and regular presentations for management
• Collaborate with and support other traders in the Cemcoa trading team
• Support continuous improvement and performance initiatives
