Traffic Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage FDOT Driveway Connection Permit applications and technical documentation
• Develop Traffic Impact Statements (TIS) for Florida cities and counties
• Conduct operational analyses and traffic modeling using Synchro/SimTraffic
• Perform traffic signal design, including plans and timing sheets
• Prepare technical reports, design documents, and supporting calculations
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, and permitting agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Florida PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months
• 3+ years of experience in traffic or transportation engineering
• Valid drivers license and clean driving history
• Proficiency in Synchro/SimTraffic
• Experience with FDOT driveway connection permitting and traffic signal design

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in HCS
• Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD
