Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of call in clinical communications for patients within guidelines and protocols
• Administer injections and medications
• Provide direct clinical care for minor check-in visits or lab draws
• Provide supporting paperwork and education for patients
• Support clinic visits as appropriate and per training
• Support everyday clinic flow and act as backup support for MAs
• Maintain logs and perform sterilization of instruments
• Obtain and transcribe patient medical records

Requirements

• Current certification as a Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMRs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an outpatient setting
• Lactation certification (IBCLC, CLC, CLE)
• Bilingual skills, specifically Spanish
