Turkish-English OPI/VRI Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Over-the-Phone and Video Remote Interpretation between Turkish and English speakers
• Facilitate communication in healthcare and medical settings with precise terminology
• Render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting content
• Maintain professional standards and dress code for video interpreting
• Participate in internal training and pursue relevant certifications

Requirements

• Native fluency in Turkish and fluent English
• 1+ years of telephone interpretation experience with a recognized company
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• High school diploma or equivalent
• High emotional intelligence and cross-cultural tolerance
• Excellent listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Awareness of legal terminology
• International healthcare certifications (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.)
