Turkish VRI/OPI Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally and adhere to the Interpreter's code of conduct
• Take accurate notes during calls and render all messages completely without adding, omitting, or substituting
• Apply specialized medical and healthcare terminology knowledge during interpretation
• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients with accuracy and completeness
• Maintain compliance with dress code requirements for video remote interpreting
• Participate in internal professional training and pursue additional certifications
• Communicate regularly with team leaders and report on call activities

Requirements

• Native fluency in Turkish and fluent English proficiency
• 1+ years of over-the-telephone interpretation experience with a recognized interpretation company
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology; legal terminology knowledge is a plus
• High school diploma in your native language
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance for diverse cultures
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills

Preferred Qualifications

• International certifications in healthcare interpretation (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.)
