UI Designer (3-month contract)

Responsibilities

• Execute beautifully crafted and responsive websites, apps, and digital experiences.
• Deliver compelling and conceptual design directions and visual explorations.
• Collaborate within a Design Studio environment with internal partners (UX designers, writers, project managers, strategists, developers, and leadership).
• Build trusted client relationships by understanding needs, collaborating, providing recommendations, and flawless execution.
• Adapt based on evolving requirements, timelines, and stakeholder feedback.
• Gather and incorporate client and audience needs during the design process.
• Present designs to clients and translate feedback into actionable improvements.

Requirements

• Portfolio of UI design work demonstrating digital platform and experience design.
• 3+ years’ UI design experience with responsive interface design proficiency.
• Experience leading UI design across multiple platforms.
• Experience managing projects end-to-end.
• Ability to lead working sessions and client presentations.
• Experience designing complex, multi-variant web-based applications.
• Proficient with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of UI and interaction design best practices for responsive experiences.
• Experience with established and new design systems.
• Understanding of accessibility design challenges.
• Good understanding of UX best practices.
• Passion for UI Design as a discipline; desire to elevate it across the business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for content management systems (Sitecore, Acquia).
• Familiarity with Agile processes.
• Mobile app design experience.
• Skill in Motion Design.
• Experience in brand campaign creative.
