UI Designer (Contractors)

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver beautifully crafted and responsive websites, apps, and digital experiences for clients.
• Create compelling conceptual design directions and explorations.
• Collaborate within a Design Studio environment with UX designers, writers, strategists, project managers, developers, and leadership.
• Build and strengthen client relationships by understanding their needs, providing recommendations, and executing high-quality design work.
• Adapt efficiently to changing requirements, feedback, and timelines.
• Participate in client meetings to understand audience needs and contribute to the creative process.
• Present work to clients and respond to feedback for continual improvement.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing UI design for multiple digital platforms
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in responsive interface design
• Experience leading UI design projects from conception to delivery
• Skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), PowerPoint
• Proven ability to run collaborative sessions and client presentations
• Experience designing complex, multi-variant web-based applications
• Familiarity with established and custom design systems
• Understanding of accessibility and UX best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for content management systems (e.g., Sitecore, Acquia)
• Agile workflow/process familiarity
• Mobile app design experience
• Motion Design exposure
• Brand campaign creative experience
