UN Women - Resource Mobilisation Consultant (Home-based)

Responsibilities

• Develop an inception report outlining the key steps for the Resource Mobilization Strategy and Implementation Plan
• Conduct a desk review of key strategic notes, evaluation reports, and donor landscape assessments
• Undertake a scoping and trend analysis of ODA and Humanitarian Assistance for gender equality in the English and Dutch-Speaking Caribbean
• Identify funding opportunities from philanthropic foundations, private sector, government, and multilateral sources
• Draft the MCO Resource Mobilization and Implementation Plan for the Caribbean
• Develop targeted briefing notes and presentations for donor pitches on areas such as Ending Violence against Women and Gender-Responsive Financing

Requirements

• Master's degree in economics, business administration, social sciences, gender studies, international development, or related fields (Bachelor's degree with 2 additional years of experience accepted)
• At least 7 years of professional work experience in resource mobilization and business development (9 years with a Bachelor's degree)
• Experience working with civil society organizations, international institutions, and donors
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of Results Based Management and gender equality issues
