User Risk Strategist

Responsibilities

• Drive risk strategy for strategic business initiatives, collaborating with teams across Product, Legal, Operations, Sales, and Partnerships.
• Research and analyze Stripe's current risk performance to develop and prioritize strategic plans for growth.
• Represent Stripe in external engagements with critical partners and customers.
• Execute complex analyses and projects in response to evolving business needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fintech, financial services, or related fields.
• Background in risk, compliance, or product enablement.
• Experience developing risk strategies and implementing solutions with technical and operations teams.
• Strong analytical skills, communication capabilities, and ability to navigate ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience overseeing strategic programs and managing relationships with global organizations.
• Familiarity with card network rules, banking regulations, and compliance processes.
• Analytical and strategic mindset, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
