Vendor & Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of third-party data provider relationships across all global markets.
• Develop and maintain a global vendor strategy, including market scanning, RFP/RFI management, and capability assessments.
• Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, SLAs, and contractual terms to drive cost efficiency.
• Manage the vendor cost base and collaborate with Finance to model unit economics and gross margin impacts.
• Ensure all vendors comply with data protection standards (GDPR, PDPL, PDPA) and information security requirements.
• Develop and maintain vendor governance frameworks, risk registers, and performance scorecards.
• Define and monitor vendor KPIs and SLAs, conducting regular performance reviews and managing escalations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for strategic vendor relationships and coordinate with internal Product, Tech, and Ops teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management within technology or professional services.
• Proven track record of successful commercial negotiations involving contracts, pricing, and SLAs.
• Strong understanding of data protection and compliance frameworks, specifically GDPR.
• Experience developing vendor governance frameworks, risk assessments, and performance monitoring systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to model unit economics and present cost analysis to leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first, scaling environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in background screening, HR tech, fintech, or regtech.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar information security frameworks.
• Experience managing vendors across multiple international jurisdictions (e.g., UK, UAE, Singapore, India).
• Working knowledge of API integrations and data interchange formats.
