Veterinary Technician - Teletriage

Responsibilities

• Engage with members via chat, phone, and video to provide support and education on pet health
• Triage cases based on veterinary knowledge and offer recommendations
• Review medical records to understand patient history and provide informed guidance
• Document patient records accurately using veterinary terminology
• Verify and process prescriptions and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and systems

Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (VTNE completed)
• At least two years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine
• Tech-savvy with ability to navigate multiple computer programs
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Quiet, distraction-free workspace with high-speed internet (>100mb down/up, <10ms latency)
