Job description

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships to drive revenue and audience expansion
  • Build partnership strategies across verticals including automotive, media, technology, travel, and insurance
  • Develop 360-degree partnership frameworks incorporating content, data, and technology
  • Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with executives at prospective partner organizations
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to integrate weather intelligence into partner platforms
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations for licensing, distribution, and joint ventures
  • Develop business cases and financial models to support partnership investment decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial leadership
  • Proven success in negotiating and closing complex strategic partnerships
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience managing high-value commercial relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree
  • Experience with weather, data, analytics, SaaS, or digital media companies
  • Experience building multi-component partnerships (content, data, advertising, licensing)
  • Global partnership and international business development experience
  • Experience in high-growth, innovation-driven environments
