Vice President, Communication & PR

Responsibilities

• Architect a cohesive enterprise communications strategy across PR, Corporate, and Learner/Alumni functions
• Serve as a senior communications voice on the executive leadership team
• Guide directors in building brand awareness, internal alignment, and learner journey communications
• Provide strategic oversight on media relations, earned media, and crisis communications
• Oversee regulatory communications to ensure compliance with accreditation and governing bodies
• Build and maintain a VP-level KPI dashboard to report on strategic effectiveness

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive communications leadership at the VP or executive level
• Master's degree
• Demonstrated understanding of higher education communications
• Proven track record of budget accountability in a growth-stage organization
• Experience leading multi-audience communications strategies
• Strong data fluency and ability to present KPI-based frameworks
• Executive presence for peer-level leadership and external representation

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of accreditation processes and state board of nursing regulatory environments
• Familiarity with higher education and non-traditional learner populations
• Background in change communications and organizational culture alignment
