Vice President, Corporate Banking

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with a portfolio of large corporate and public sector clients
• Drive revenue growth through active client origination and strategic relationship expansion
• Develop and execute client account plans focused on revenue growth and wallet share
• Lead proactive origination efforts across lending, treasury, trade solutions, and capital markets
• Partner with product specialists, Investment Banking, Markets, and Risk teams
• Coordinate complex transactions involving multiple product partners and geographies
• Maintain responsibility for all credit aspects including underwriting, reviews, and portfolio monitoring
• Lead deal teams and mentor junior bankers
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and governance standards

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or credit
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and originating business
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products (lending, treasury, FX, derivatives)
• Experience working with large corporates or government-related entities (GREs)
• Deep knowledge of UAE and GCC market dynamics and financing trends
• Strong financial analysis, credit underwriting, and risk assessment skills
• Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
