Vice President, Corporate Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the enterprise controllership organization, including general accounting, AP, AR, revenue, and technical accounting
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for a multi-site clinic network
• Prepare and file SEC reports including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
• Design and maintain a robust internal controls framework under SOX 404
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors under PCAOB standards
• Provide technical accounting guidance on revenue recognition, lease accounting, and business combinations
• Drive ERP and financial systems optimization, including the adoption of AI and automation tools
• Partner with the CFO and executive leadership on strategic initiatives and Board communications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA designation required
• 12+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
• Prior public company Controller or Assistant Controller experience required
• Demonstrated experience with SEC reporting and SOX compliance
• Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP (ASC 606, ASC 842)
• Proven track record of leading finance transformation and ERP implementations
• Experience managing external audit relationships under PCAOB standards
• Exceptional communication and executive presence

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 or national accounting firm experience
• MBA or Master's degree in Accounting
• Healthcare or multi-unit consumer services industry experience
• Working knowledge of AI and automation tools in finance
