Responsibilities

  • Lead fundraising for Global Private Wealth across the Middle East region to meet objectives and build the HarbourVest brand
  • Serve as Account Manager for Middle East-based GPW clients and prospects, originating new business and owning existing relationships
  • Cold call new prospects and develop a robust pipeline of private markets investors
  • Collaborate with EMEA and APAC GPW teams to share market intelligence and extend relationships beyond Northern Europe
  • Partner with marketing and institutional investor relations colleagues to strengthen brand presence throughout the region
  • Provide market feedback on investment strategy and product structuring to inform early product development

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in institutional and/or private client financial sales, business development, and client service
  • Proven track record of fundraising private markets funds and strategies in the Middle East
  • Live rolodex of fund selectors, distribution heads, and C-suite contacts across the region
  • Private equity or private markets experience; wealth management or private banking background beneficial
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to operate independently with extensive travel experience in a fundraising capacity
  • Fluent in English and Arabic required

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA or equivalent; MBA, CFA, or CAIA beneficial
  • Knowledge of wealth management client profiles including private banks, asset managers, fund distribution platforms, multi-family offices, and independent financial advisors
