About the Company

Autura is a vertical SaaS platform purpose-built for the towing and recovery industry. We provide integrated software that helps towing operators, dispatchers, law enforcement agencies, and state and local governments manage impounds, abandoned vehicles, liens, and roadside operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead government affairs and industry relations strategy at federal, state, and local levels
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, elected officials, and regulatory bodies
  • Manage outside lobbyists and policy consultants including budget and priority setting
  • Lead pre-solicitation engagement to influence procurement processes and RFP scoping
  • Partner with sales teams to close government contracts through proposal and negotiation
  • Own Autura's statewide agency motion across transportation, highway patrol, and law enforcement programs
  • Establish and manage relationships with government reseller and distribution partners
  • Manage cloud partner relationships including co-sell and marketplace listings
  • Source and qualify acquisition targets in government towing and adjacent public sector services
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO on policy risk and regulatory landscapes

Requirements

  • 12+ years in government relations, business development, sales leadership, or policy
  • Proven record managing relationships with government agencies and elected officials
  • Demonstrated success closing government contracts and driving revenue from public markets
  • Experience selling enterprise software to state agencies via statute-driven procurements
  • Experience with GSA schedules, state term contracts, and cooperative purchasing vehicles
  • Experience with hyperscale public sector partner programs such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Track record building technology or integration alliances with platform vendors
  • Working knowledge of federal and state grant funding mechanisms
  • Experience managing outside lobbyists or government affairs consultants
  • Experience sourcing or supporting acquisitions in a private equity backed environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business, public policy, law, economics, or related field
