Vice President, Production

Responsibilities

• Drive weekly and daily production performance against plan through a structured Daily Management System
• Manage conversion of WIP to finished goods ensuring lean flow through the network
• Optimize labor productivity and track cost per unit as a primary operating KPI
• Lead structured OEE improvement programs and Kaizen activities to minimize waste and downtime
• Direct production scheduling to align demand signals with material and labor capacity
• Oversee quality standards to ensure a right-first-time culture and audit readiness
• Partner with Cultivation, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure material readiness and product alignment
• Build and develop a high-accountability production and quality organization

Requirements

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience in cannabis, CPG, or related industries
• 5+ years of management experience
• Lean expertise; Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred)
• Experience managing multi-function teams including quality and scheduling
• Strong P&L and cost management capability
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (cannabis, food, pharma, or CPG)
• Familiarity with ERP/MES platforms and production scheduling systems
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel up to 50% to production facilities
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
• Must pass background checks and be approved by state badging agencies
